The role involves working in two outlets that serve Pub Classics and modern Australian cuisine, as well as catering for functions with up to 300 guests. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Senior CDP or Junior Sous Chef in a hands-on capacity. They should also have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and be passionate about food, with a proven track record of delivering high standards and quality. Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to supervise, inspire, and motivate a team to deliver excellent food quality and service. Experience with cost control through effective practices, including knowledge of Cooking the Books, is also desirable. Previous experience with functions would be an advantage.
